Insurance and Fees
In-Network Insurance: This provider is a Student Clinical Intern. Due to state insurance regulations, student interns cannot bill insurance directly and are out-of-network for all insurance panels (including Aetna, UHC, and Carelon).
Standard Private-Pay Fee: $50 per session.
Lower Community Rate Slots: To honor our commitment to culturally responsive, accessible mental health care, this provider offers a lower community-rate sliding scale for clients experiencing financial hardship, students, and emerging creatives who need to prioritize their mental health budget.
The Internship Advantage: Because our interns carry smaller, highly focused caseloads, they offer deeply intentional, high-touch care. Every case is structurally backed by intensive, weekly clinical supervision with our fully licensed senior staff at no extra cost to you.

Specialized Counseling for Creatives, Neurodivergent Adults & Life Transitions
Individual Counseling for Creatives, Professionals, and Neurodiverse Adults in NYC
If you are navigating high-achievement pressure, creative burnout, or the unique sensory and emotional landscape of neurodivergence, you deserve a therapeutic space that centers your lived experience. I provide identity-affirming, culturally responsive counseling designed to help you reconnect with your inner resilience and navigate life's transitions with clarity.
I am a Mental Health Counseling Intern completing my clinical training through Northwestern University. At Rise Psychology NYC, I work under the direct clinical supervision of Dr. Fanny Ng, PhD (Licensed Psychologist, NY #023635). This collaborative training model ensures every client receives intentional, high-touch care grounded in clinical excellence.
How I Can Help
I work with adults across Manhattan, Brooklyn, and New York State navigating:
Creatives & Performers: Overcoming creative blocks, imposter syndrome, stage anxiety, and career pressures.
Neurodivergent Support: Affirming, strength-based support for ADHD, executive functioning challenges, and sensory processing.
Anxiety & Perfectionism: Managing high-functioning anxiety, chronic worry, and perfectionistic standards.
Relationship & Identity: Navigating attachment patterns, self-esteem, life transitions, and multicultural identity.
Burnout & Stress Management: Specialized care for caregiver exhaustion, work/life strain, and wellness integration.
My Approach to Counseling
My approach is collaborative, integrative, and evidence-based, drawing from:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) & DBT Skills
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Psychodynamic & Trauma-Informed Counseling
Feminist & Humanistic Frameworks
My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming, neurodivergent-affirming, and culturally responsive. Having a background as a professional songwriter and NYU Steinhardt-trained vocal coach, I bring a nuanced understanding of performance pressure and creative expression into the therapeutic room.
