Insurance and Fees

  • In-Network Insurance: This provider is a Student Clinical Intern. Due to state insurance regulations, student interns cannot bill insurance directly and are out-of-network for all insurance panels (including Aetna, UHC, and Carelon).

  • Standard Private-Pay Fee: $50 per session.

  • Lower Community Rate Slots: To honor our commitment to culturally responsive, accessible mental health care, this provider offers a lower community-rate sliding scale for clients experiencing financial hardship, students, and emerging creatives who need to prioritize their mental health budget.

  • The Internship Advantage: Because our interns carry smaller, highly focused caseloads, they offer deeply intentional, high-touch care. Every case is structurally backed by intensive, weekly clinical supervision with our fully licensed senior staff at no extra cost to you.

Clinical Intern in New York Specialized Therapy for Creatives & Neurodivergent Adults

Individual Therapy for Creatives, Professionals, and Neurodiverse Adults in NYC

If you are navigating the complexities of high-achievement pressure, creative burnout, or the unique sensory and emotional landscape of neurodivergence, you deserve a space that centers your lived experience. I provide identity-affirming, culturally responsive therapy designed to help you reconnect with your inner resilience and navigate life's transitions with clarity.

Expertise & Clinical Approach

As a NY-based counselor-in-training at Rise Psychology NYC, I support adults across Manhattan and Brooklyn through virtual and in-person care. My work is grounded in providing neurodivergent-affirming care and mental health support for creatives.

Currently completing my clinical training at Northwestern University, I work under the direct supervision of Dr. Fanny Ng, PhD, a specialist in Health Psychology and CBT-I. This collaborative model ensures my clients benefit from a high standard of clinical excellence in areas such as medical trauma, chronic illness support, and holistic wellness.

Why Work With Me?
  • The Creative’s Edge: With a background as a professional songwriter and NYU Steinhardt-trained vocal coach, I specialize in helping artists and performers overcome creative blocks, performance anxiety, and imposter syndrome.

  • Neurodivergent-Affirming Support: As a dedicated advocate for learning differences, I provide specialized support for ADHD, executive functioning challenges, and sensory processing, helping neurodivergent individuals thrive in a neurotypical world.

  • Health & Wellness Integration: My practice at Rise Psychology NYC allows me to support clients through women’s mental health, reproductive wellbeing, and stress management.

Specialized Service Areas
  • Creatives & Performers: Addressing creative burnout, writing blocks, and career transitions.

  • Neurodivergent Support: Affirming therapy for ADHD, learning differences, and sensory overload.

  • Anxiety & Perfectionism: Managing high-functioning anxiety and the pressures of perfectionism.

  • Relationship & Identity: Exploring attachment styles, self-esteem, and multicultural identity.

  • Health & Burnout: Specialized support for caregiver stress and physical health-related anxiety.
