Meet Dr. Fanny Ng
Licensed Clinical Psychologist in New York & New Jersey Therapy for Anxiety, Trauma, Grief, Chronic Illness & Life Stressors
Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in survival mode? You don’t have to stay there. Stress, burnout, grief, and trauma can weigh heavily on your mind and body. When life feels unmanageable, it can be hard to stay present, feel joy, or take care of yourself. Therapy is a space to feel supported and seen—and to start healing, piece by piece.
I’m Dr. Fanny Ng (she/her), a licensed clinical psychologist working with adults in New York and New Jersey. I help clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, caregiver burnout, and chronic health conditions reclaim their well-being and reconnect with what matters most.
How I Can Help
I work with clients who are navigating:
Anxiety, worry, and perfectionism
Depression and low motivation
Grief, loss, and life transitions
Race-based trauma and identity stress
Burnout and caregiver fatigue
Sleep issues and stress-related health problems
Chronic illness and pain (including cancer)
Women’s mental health and work/life balance
Whether you're adjusting to a new diagnosis, grieving a loss, struggling with emotional exhaustion, or feeling disconnected from yourself, I offer a safe, affirming space to slow down, reflect, and heal.
My Approach to Therapy
I offer collaborative, evidence-based therapy that integrates:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Mindfulness and self-compassion practices
My work is grounded in a feminist multicultural perspective and is LGBTQIA+ affirming. I center the lived experiences of BIPOC and marginalized communities, and I welcome conversations about identity, culture, race, gender, and family dynamics.
Clients describe me as warm, thoughtful, and empowering. I strive to create a space where you can feel supported, heard, and challenged in ways that promote growth.
Therapy in English & Cantonese
I also offer therapy in Cantonese for individuals who feel more comfortable processing their experiences in their native language. My goal is to provide culturally sensitive, accessible care for clients across backgrounds.
