Meet Angelina

Mental Health Counseling Intern Therapy for Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, and Chronic Illness

Are you feeling overwhelmed or alone in a busy city?

I believe that even in the busiest environments, you don't have to be alone. It takes courage to give yourself the time and space you need to heal. Whether you're trying to figure out who you are, understand how your past affects you now, or just need a safe place that's just for you, you deserve care and support. My goal is to offer you a safe, open, and affirming space where you can feel free to begin your healing journey. Working in both Midtown and Brooklyn, I want to make sure your care is easy to find and reach.

I am an intern therapist under the direct supervision of Dr. Fanny Ng, a licensed clinical psychologist and founder at Rise Psychology NYC. My approach is collaborative and empowering. I am dedicated to meeting clients where they are and providing supportive, non-judgmental care. I strive to create an affirming space for people from all backgrounds, particularly those who identify as queer, BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color), and femme.

My Approach to Therapy

I use an integrative approach to therapy, which means I pull from different therapy styles to find what works best for you. These include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Trauma-Informed Care. I also use Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT). My work is also grounded in a multicultural feminist lens, which helps me to understand and respect your unique background and experiences. I specialize in working with adults who are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, identity and family issues.
