Psychologist, Clinical Supervisor

I am a licensed psychologist who specializes in trauma and PTSDÂ and work with people
in New York City and throughout New York State. I have 20 years of clinical experience
helping young adults, parents, women and BIPOC with the unique challenges they
face.Â
Currently I work full-time at John Jay College in the Wellness Center as the Director of
the Office of Accessibly and ensure that students with disabilities are provided with the
accommodations they need to succeed in college. I also provide supervision to
graduate externs both Master’s and Doctoral level, and train clinical staff on how to work
with individuals who have experienced trauma. In addition, I am an adjunct professor for
several years and have taught both undergraduate and graduate level courses including
the Internship/Field Work course of Mental Health Counselors in training. Furthermore, I
provide workshops for staff and peer leaders on stress management, self-care, and
emotional intelligence.
Educational credentials include a BA and MA from Manhattan College and an MS and
PsyD from St. John’s University. In addition, I also have post-graduate training at the
Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy (ICP) – 2 years and a third year Advanced
Master Course in trauma and I am certified in EMDR.
